Hi, my name is Mike Reed, and I'm the president and founder of Mighty Process Server, as well as 123 Legal Support, a nationwide provider of process serving and legal support solutions. Mighty Process Server was invented to help me find servers across the country. Me and my team send out thousands of servers across the country, and finding good verified professionals has always been a challenge. So starting Mighty Process Server was my way of bringing technology into the process serving industry so that we can verify, send jobs, pay the servers on time, pay the servers what they're asking, and have a bid process for finding good qualified professionals that are willing to communicate using our system.
So here, as you can see here behind me, there's a map of all of our servers that have been added to the system that we've used in the past. And so what I want to show you is how powerful it is. This video is all about how to find a professional process server. So let's go ahead and type in here. If you're on the home screen, it's the same thing, you're just going to type right here. Let's go ahead and type Houston. All right, so if I look at the Houston area, I have a variety of servers here. In this case, you can see, let's just say your service here on the south side, you can see right here, we have this professional Rhino Justice. You can see their rates right here on this little card. If you're like, nah, let me look around, you can, you can request a bid, you can view profile. Once you view the profile, you can see a summary. This is in their own words about their business. You can see their pricing set over here. You can see how long they've been on the platform, how many years they've been serving, and how many jobs they've completed on the platform. And it's cranking out lots of jobs, but we have thousands of servers across the country that the goal is to get the closest server to the job that's willing to be professional and charge a fair price, that's the idea.
So if you see on the map section, there's a bunch of different servers, you can bid. Once you post your job, it will be sent to all servers within a 150-mile radius to bid on the job. There is a deadline, a timer, essentially, that allows them to be able to submit bids. And once that timer expires, the job gets sent back to you to look at the bids that have been submitted on the job, and then you get to choose the one that best fits you. So if you click on this profile, for example, you can see the different certifications. They're all either certified, verified, in some manner to make sure they're professional, but there's things that they can do. There are optional things that they can do, upload their errors and omissions insurance. If they are bonded, they can upload their bond. If they're a private investigator, they can add that. They can add their LLC information. If they're certified or licensed in their local state, that'll show up as well. Now this is not a simple checkbox. They actually have to upload the credentials, the documents, directly in the system. The jobs are tracked, and you can see the other different elements and services that they provide, the languages that they speak, everything, so that you can make an educated decision on who you want to hire to complete your assignment.
Once you're ready to go ahead and assign somebody, you can click on request bid. When you click request bid, it's going to take you to sign up. There is no fee for you to sign up if you're a law firm or an individual. If you're an attorney, we give you a very special law firm dashboard. You simply click here, create your account, enter your information, and you immediately create your order and manage everything inside the system. Let's go ahead and create a quick account and show you how that works. Enter inside your account, you can go ahead and update some information. I'm going to walk you through this really quickly, but you will need to go to your email and verify your email before it lets you log in. Very secure. You can click on new order. For a process server, you just click on process server. You can choose multiple parties or a single party. If you choose multiple parties, you'll have to enter the multiple service addresses, obviously, if they're different service addresses.
All right, we'll click continue. We're going to go ahead and upload an example document of a summons and complaint. You simply click in the field so you can see the extraction process. Basically what it does is, in the background, it will go ahead and extract the data. The court information, the court address, the plaintiff defendant, all of the things that you would normally have to sit here and type out, it just does it for you, okay? And then if you have any kind of like a field sheet or maybe your case file sheet that has other information like the service details, the address, things that may not be on the summons and complaint, you can upload that in a miscellaneous documents and it'll extract that data as well, even further helping you complete the service assignment.
So if we click on continue, this is where we put our specific customer information. So if you have a client, SuzyQ, client, whatever, this is how you're going to be able to keep track of that and it lives here under your client tab once you've created it. So let's go ahead and enter that information here. We'll say I've already created a client to make things easier, Suzy client. You can create one in line though, as you just hit save client. We're going to add a little file number if you just have some file number that helps you keep track of things. This is the test attorney that I created. You want to make sure you create add an attorney. Your onboarding makes it easy, you just go ahead and when you fill out the information on your account, just go ahead and add the attorney's information here. This is required to state bar number, especially if you're doing e-filing and things like that, it will be required to have the attorney's actual information in there.
All right, so we're going to notify client, let's say no, we want to notify the client directly and then we'll go ahead and click continue, all right? So we continue and now we are on the service field. You can actually see it says here we pulled 14 fields from the updated PDF. So we put in here this test defendant, you can see it automatically added this information from the documents and this, assigning these documents to this party is basically saying when it creates a case for you based on the case information, automatically under my cases. And so those documents will live in the documents tab as well as the my cases tab, allowing you to track all your jobs.
All right, let's go ahead and click continue to the next screen. On the screen, you can see this is the standard of service, like what type of service are we looking for? Do we need to serve this right away because this is the court date is this week and you need to get the proof of service back and filed with the court. You're going to want to do on-demand or priority, but as you saw from the previous screen, like those rates are pretty well set. So you know what to expect. Not every server has their rate set. So let's say, let's just say standard, we'll hit continue, okay? So we have some information here and now we can go ahead and review the documents. This whole thing is designed to help you review the documents over here on the left and decide if these are actual legal documents I've uploaded as an example so that you can review the documents side by side with the information, make the changes necessary and once you've decided the information is correct, you can go ahead and move forward. If there's any information that's incorrect, you can come over here and you can click the little pencil icon, open it up, change the numbers, whatever you need to change, click the little check arrow and then move forward.
So when we click submit order and move forward, you pay a $25 deposit. That $25 deposit goes towards the fee for service. So once we get here, we can go ahead and enter card information and you can see what it looks like from there. Okay. So now that you're, I submitted payment on this test job just to kind of test it out and it's $25 deposit and as you can see here, this has our test case name, this is on the My Cases tab is where you can always come back here and see this is where it drops you. You can click on here to see more service info, you can see the activity that's been done on the job. This is like your job timeline, the activity and then you see your documents right here. You can also upload additional documents that you might want to have served in the future. Maybe you're someone who likes to manage everything by your documents. You can have all your documents listed here. And then now whenever I go to create a new order and I say my Mighty Pro Server, I want to order a process server, once I hit continue, I can actually pull direct, instead of uploading them every time I can just hit select documents, it will show me my list of documents I have listed. You can see service status, it'll actually show you the job. And when the server, there's an in route feature, when the server clicks the button that says in route, it'll actually show you, it'll send you notification. Just like Uber or some other company, you'll be able to see them on their way to the service assignment, which is pretty cool. Not all servers use that feature, but that's our goal. That's our goal is for you to be able to see service status in line. You can message, a new message thread is always created. Once it's been sent for service, they'll send you a message and keep you updated along the way. Once you've accepted one of the bids that come in.
So you see my cases, you can actually hit open that case and you can actually see the service orders and you can click into it and see your $25 deposit that is for standard service to serve one person. All the bids that you receive will come in through here and you'll be able to accept one of them. So let's see what that looks like. Okay. So we are back into the portal and as you can see up here, if you click on the little bell notification, it says a bid was received on your job. So if you click on that, this is like your notifications, it's like Facebook or any other app. If you click on it, it'll take you directly to the screen where you can look at the bid. So in this case, I just threw in a bid for $25 and so you so that you could review it. This is from 123 Legal Support. 123 Legal Support submitted a bid. If you wanted to accept this bid, you can hit accept. So one thing I will tell you, if you are a customer and you are entering a job and you just entered it and this is the first bid you got, you should wait. You get, it's a 48-hour bid process if you have a standard service. So I would wait at least the 24 hours, maybe 48 hours, so you could see what bids you're going to receive. You might receive five, 10, 20 bids depending on when the professionals in that area log into their system. They get the notifications via email that say, hey, go bid on this job. So let's go ahead and wait for a little bit and see what other bids come in on this test job.
Okay. So now we're checking back to see what other bids we got. Looks like we got another bid, second notification here. Now we have two different ones that we can choose from. You can see here that one provider is actually in Houston and they have a seven-star ranking. And then this one here is in Orlando has a nine-star ranking doesn't tell you a whole lot about who the servers are from this particular bid card, but what you're able to do is look at them. You can go back to the directory and look at their profile, but you can make a decision and you can actually go ahead and accept in this case, we want someone who's closer to Houston. So we're going to say, accept this bid. This is going to automatically confirm. So it'll take the $25 different. So basically you paid a $25 deposit and there's a platform fee and the difference is $8. So basically you're going to pay the remainder $8 based on the bid of the $30. So you pay the remainder $8, go ahead and pay. All right. It automatically charged your card the $8 or my card, the $8. And now this job has been assigned to Kyle Reed and the, yep, I see the process, the transaction just went through as Mighty Process Server. And so now I can actually message the server directly right here. So automatically Sue tests defendant, it tells you who it is. You can keep track of who that actual defendant is and needs to be served. If you had 20 or 30 defendants that you were trying to serve, you can track them all right here. If you had a bunch of conversations for the different serves that you had out, they would be here and you can just click here to open up the job and see.
So let's go ahead and send Kyle a message and say, it's a test account, but just to show you how it works, you know, hey, Kyle, thanks for accepting this assignment. I look forward to working with you. Okay. Something like that. And so that's your, the conversation there. And then let's wait and see if he has something to say in return. And let's go back to our documents. Now we can go to my cases and click on our case name and you can see the activity right here. It shows that Kyle is assigned to the order when he starts making attempts on the job, you're going to see those here inside of your timeline coming in. Okay. Yeah. So that's it. You can always message him. You can always go back to messenger. You can always go back to activity, actually click message right here and communicate with them right here inside the system and click on serve status. And now that he has been assigned the job, you can see how many attempts he's made. It'll show you right here, basically that the main purpose of the serve status is if he uses the en route feature, you'll see that he's en route. So let's see, let's give him a minute and see what he has to say.
Also before we do that, I want to show you on your billing section, you can come over here and you can change, that's my actual credit card number, the last four. You can see that the payment was made for a total of $33 that combines all the fee together into one. So it's one neat, clean situation that shows the breakdown there if you hit the little dropdown. So let's go ahead and give Kyle a minute to reply to our message and see if he is planning to make an attempt anytime soon.
Okay. So now we're back into your account. Let's go ahead and take a look at your notifications. You have a server that was assigned to the job, as we mentioned before, you can see that he was assigned to the job and now through the activity screen, you can see new things that are happening. So it looks like one attempt was made, it was unsuccessful. You can click on that attempt and it'll actually show you details. It'll actually open up that particular order under service status and it'll show you the details. It was not served, it made an attempt. There was a vehicle in the driveway, license plate, blah, blah, blah, spoke to the neighbor. And so that's like your little timeline going on. That's how you can keep track of this particular job. If there are any other notes or issues, those will show up as well.
So let's go back to orders. Let's actually open up the case again. All right, service orders, notes, activity, looks like there was a, so there's a little note here, a little update from the server, it says here, it looks like we might be missing page three of the summons. Everything seems to be in order other than that. And that's a big deal, right? Like if you serve something and the documents are incomplete, the server didn't realize until maybe after they made their first attempt, okay, we were just testing out the note feature so you could see it. And so now you can, you can literally open up the job timeline. You can actually message them directly. Just click on the messaging tool and just message them directly. You can see he replied, he said, I'm on my way, I'm in route to serve it right now. So if I, if I look on here, I can actually see under a serve status, here we go. Under serve status, I can actually see that this purple blinking means that he's in route. Yeah, it means that he's in route to the job. All right, so I click on the serve status from serve status, click on, I can see the attempt has been made in the future. We're going to have it where it's called a TD at the door. And so they'll turn on a camera and you'll be able to see it actually get served.
So yeah, that's, this is it. This is how you hire a server, how you manage the server from beginning to end. Once the serve is complete, the process server will sign the proof of service. If it needs to be notarized, they'll notarize the proof of service. And sometimes you'll run into a situation where the server needs to charge more money for something like, let's say you went through this process and then you found out you actually need to get it notarized, they can send you an invoice directly through the system and you can pay it. This might happen, you know, if you needed them to do a stakeout because the people aren't answering the door or something like that. This is, this is a normal course of business. Sometimes there's things that cost more money. So, but that's how you hire a server. That's how you go through the process of checking your notifications and actually messaging the server directly. And maybe in this case, since we saw that note, we can say, I saw the note about the page three missing of the summons, I'm going to send it to you now. And then you can actually send it to them inside the system, which is pretty cool. All right, guys, let me know if you have any questions. This is how you hire a server using Mighty Process Server.
