how to become a process server, what you're gonna need. And the cool part about this video that I'm about to play is it's a part of a series called the Be The Back Up series. What I was doing is can I build a process serving business in 90 days that makes at least $10,000 per month? I was able to do it in just 15 days. We were in $12,000 and that was from about six different attorneys and a property management company. I break it down for you step by step in this series. But this video here, video number one, day number one, is all about how to become a process server. If you're serious about becoming a process server, you will watch this video all the way to the end, get a very special treat for you. And then you're gonna wanna go watch the full series at mightyprocesserver.com. If you're already on the website, just go into the classroom and watch day number two as soon as you're done with this one. Thanks so much. All right, well, let's go ahead and dive in. Guys, I wanna get started. This series is all about making you step by step through creating a new company. Now, there are some companies that I could go through. If you guys haven't heard of me, you don't know who I am. I mean, who's this random person? Mighty Mike is my brand. Mighty Mike Reed. I started the first process server podcast that I know of. I know there's a few different people who've done a few different episodes, but I had the longest running, most views. Still, I haven't created another interview for quite a while for process server daily, and it continues to get thousands and thousands of downloads all the time on iTunes and Stitcher Radio. So I thought, you know what? I've got a lot of people who reach out to me who are saying, Mike, I wanna start a process serving company. You built your business really quickly. Like, how can I do that? So we're gonna dive into some of that here today, and I have some questions here that I'm going to answer. Some basics before we get started. Things I'll tell you right away is that we're going to do is we are going to do things differently than I have in the past. This time, I'm explaining to you now here, sitting at my desk, but moving forward, what I'm gonna do is I'm actually gonna do it from the field, or I'm gonna do a screen share, and I'm gonna show you stuff, right? Because building a business is a very active thing. You can't just sit here and talk about it, and you're gonna do this and that. No, you have to actually take action. So I have an action list. I have a 100-point checklist that I've come up with, essentially, for starting a new process serving company. And I'm in a market. I was born in New Mexico, but I don't know anything. I mean, I don't know anybody here. So it's gonna be me starting completely from scratch, starting a new business here, and do I wanna be a process server? No, not necessarily. I don't wanna go knocking on doors all the time. Once you've reached a certain level, and you're making a certain amount of money, that level of hustle is not something you're trying to go out and do, but I'm going to do it for you guys, okay? I'm gonna do the process serving. I'm going to do the relationship building. I'm going to build a company that is worth selling that I can sell in the next five, 10 years that I could turn around and sell for a substantial amount of money. And this is so important when you first start a company, is understanding that you're starting it with the intention to build it, to be something that someone would wanna buy, okay? So we're gonna dive into all of that stuff here today, okay? So first of all, if I'm going into it, when it comes to building a business, let's get into the nitty gritty. First of all, is there a market? Whenever you're gonna consider something starting a business, you have to understand, is there a product market fit? Am I gonna have a product that the market is gonna have a demand for? If I am, then it's gonna be an easy thing to sell. So before I even thought about doing this here locally, I actually researched it a little bit, and I found out that there's a bunch of companies that do it. None of them have a marketing presence like I did when I built my company in California. And, or even their reputation, their reviews and stuff. And the barrier for entry here is very low, okay? Like literally you have to be 18 and breathing, and you can serve a legal document. So now it's gonna be a question of getting registered, getting bonded, probably, I hope, at least you have to be bonded, okay? See, these are some of the things we're gonna learn in the series. Who are the ideal customers? Probably attorneys still, just like in California. And then figuring out, we're gonna go through this. I have a whole checklist we're gonna go through. I'm definitely going to start this company and get it going, all right? And I wanna take you along that journey. I mean, the first paper that I serve, the first attorney client that I get, the competitors that I call. So let's go ahead and get started with that part first. And one of the reasons why I wanna get started first with some competitors is because we need some information from them. And this is gonna be the first part of this, and I've been thinking about how to, should I do it this way? But I do, I do think I should do it this way. Ricky, New Mexico, all right. So what I'm doing here is I'm pulling up the competitors that I have. Now a lot of people, I call them competitors 'cause that's what they are, right? But they're not just competitors. These are people who I'm gonna work for, okay? So this one part here is gonna give us a lot of information that we need. So I'm already seeing, okay, I'm hovering over the map. I'm not gonna show the numbers and stuff 'cause I don't want it to be a, you know, I don't want it to be a dramatic thing where people are calling them. But I'm gonna call them right now here live, okay? Five, oh, five, or nine. This is what you're gonna need to do in your area if you're just getting started. And if you haven't done it already, do it. Is the serve to perfection? Hey, yes, I'm calling about. I need to get something served in Albuquerque. Wanted to find out how much you guys charge and how often you make attempts and stuff. - No, I think there is about two to three weeks right now. - Oh, what do you guys do? Like mainly evictions and stuff or what? - Well, we have contracts with the three where it helps make things like that. So, you know, whenever it goes out then it would, you know, put up an area of 10 isn't and it goes out. So typically we can only get to it maybe once or maybe twice a week. - Oh, I see, yeah. 'Cause, yeah, well, just moved here from Florida and I'm looking at it and I've been familiar with it being in real estate, you know, different people. I see here on maps that you guys were close to tramway or you said you served the whole state though. - Okay. - Yes, we do. We have a look to a perfect portion of the state. Not the entire state. - Yeah, you said you start off at 25, is that what you said? Yeah, 75 standard service you said about twice a week. And how does it work with evictions here? You guys have to make attempts before posting or you got to get an order to post or what? Yeah, Albuquerque in the center of Albuquerque there. Well, we haven't filed it yet. Oh, wow, post the first attempt, wow. And then they do what, a lockout in a week, a couple weeks. - But we, if you put money closer like that 30 day or something. - Yeah, so it's a failure to pay rent, yeah. - Yeah, so usually you do that and you'll do the 30 day notice and then they do like a three day notice. I don't know. - Interesting. And then if it wasn't Metro court, 'cause I haven't figured that part out yet. - I think it's a lot Metro than we have. - Oh yeah, personally. - It doesn't have to be, you know, it doesn't have to be. - Well, you've been so helpful. Last question. So I've heard, you know, being in real estate, we invest a lot in Florida and stuff. Do you think it's harder to evict people here or is it pretty standard? - I would say it does, for a while. It's like, if you couldn't, it would not be good. We do have a lot of evictions and foreclosures going out right now. - Geez, geez. Well, thank you so much. Yeah, so is this, is there a good email for you that I could send stuff out to or do you guys order online or what do you do? - Yeah, you could do it. - Okay. - It's okay. - Perfect. Well, thank you so much. I appreciate your help and I'll be in touch. You too, bye. - Oh, so I don't know, I don't know anything from Adam here, right? I don't know, like, you know, I mean, I know how to build a company. I know how to start a process-serving business, but when it comes to reaching out and actually building, being a process server in the local area, I really don't know anything, guys. I'm just getting started. So that's why I'm trying to show you how easy it is. I make one phone call. I find out who the number one client is for this person. I find out who, how much she charges, her standard routine service. I could have dug deeper, but there's no need. I got plenty of information right there. She's overwhelmed with business. If she did take our work, it would take her a few, three weeks out. Okay, this is a really good sign. Really, really good sign. And again, I'm not trying to put them on blast or anything. That's why I muted her email and I'm not doing a screen share here as I look at her website and stuff, but it's not impressive. The website's not impressive, the, where's the reviews? Let's see, processor, let me look up these reviews. Here we go, reviews. I mean, they got 59 five star reviews. It's four point nine reviews. So that's a good company, right? It's a good company, but 59 reviews is easy to beat. I'll beat that before this challenge is over. This 90 day challenge is over. Okay, so we got some good information, fly. All right, so let's go ahead and go on to the next one. So we, so we figured out 75 is a for a routine service. We figured out, we figured out that there's state contracts. You heard how she said that? State contracts, figured out metro courts. Let's keep going. Okay, just do five. We're doing some information gathering so we can know where to focus. Ooh, that one popped up in my phone. - Verizon cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and dial it in. - So this company, let me try again, but this company's phone number on Google doesn't work. They have nine. They're showing up as a contact in my phone for a pre-foreclosure listing. They got a, they're getting evicted from their house. Oh, should I call them? All right, let me try it. I'll call them again. - Welcome to Verizon Wireless. - Wow. - You're going to be now be completed as dialed. - Okay. Ooh, dig in them? No, freaking fly. All right, so they don't have a website. Again, I'm not going to try to, I'm not trying to put people on blast. I won't say their name, but they don't have a website. Their phone number is bad. I think the only reason they're showing up in this matte pack on Google is because they, it's because they're old. Their company's been around for a long time. So let's call the next one. This one here has a very familiar name. So let's see, let's give them a call real quick. Do, do, do, do. Oh man, this one showing up in my phone too. (coughing) Whatever, let's call them. - Great process serving. - Hey, this is Michael. How you doing today? - Okay, well, how are you? - Good, good. I'm just calling to find out how much you guys charge for an eviction out of the Metro court. - So, so is it like filing it? Like what do you need done for it? I just served. - Yeah, just doing some information gathering right now 'cause we're looking at a property there and I'm told that evictions are a pain in the butt in the Albuquerque area. - Yeah, so you would be able to, like, are you in town or are you out of town? - Out of town, yeah. - Okay, so you would be able to get all the documentation. I believe from the courts via email or on their website and then you would have to fill those out and I could be before those to me and then I would file those for you to go down to the courts. I charge, to file an eviction, I charge 60. And so that's just to like go down there and file it for you and then if you want me to, you know, advance the fee, of course, we ask for the fee back as well, which is usually, I believe, 77 in the case. - That's pretty good, yeah. - Yeah, and then, you know, like I said, we charge you the 77 back. And then if, obviously after that's all ready to go, that people are ready to go, then we serve that for you here in Albuquerque, we charge 85. - 85 dollars, okay. Now with that one, how many attempts do you make on that? - Three attempts. - And that's, is that all this required? - That's just my standard that I do for my customers and that's pretty, I mean, around the block when it comes to process serving, at least, you know, three serves are included. - But for like, okay, but like for the eviction process, like what if they don't answer, you know what I mean? - So, yeah, no, no, absolutely. So the three attempts are usually, like I said, standard. And so let's just say that they're not answering the door. Obviously, like on the third attempt we post, we take a picture, we send it by mail, which is all required by New Mexico, you know, courts and stuff like that. So we document each time and then we can get you like an affidavit of non-service, just saying that they didn't answer all that kind of stuff. But, you know, like I said, if we do post, then we file it via posting or, you know, if you choose that you wanna do, hey, like let's try and mail them a certified mail, then I can't attest to anything until I get, like the return of service back, which is like the, you know, the certified card, showing that the individual or some individual sign for it. Okay. Well, that's pretty cool. - I think we always have different options. - That's pretty neat. Well, listen, so yeah, I'm a real estate investor. We do a lot of wholesale and flipping and things like that. We just got a place out in Edgewood and I was thinking about, I was thinking about serving out there 'cause I used to serve back in the day. - Oh, huh. - Yeah, do you guys like do affiliate work? Would you send me work out in Edgewood or how does that work? - Yeah, I mean, actually I have, well, I have a couple of proceeded questions. I feel like that I charge a lot more for that area. - Yeah, yeah, maybe I could come in when I'm in town and come in and meet you guys and see, you know, I mean, that's how I got started back in the day. It was just serving for somebody else. And then that went pretty well. And then I got into real estate and then stopped serving. So yeah, yeah. - Well, I got to let me know and I think I'm so free to reach out. My name is Julia. - Well, I appreciate you. And is there a better, is this the best phone number for you? - This is my directly. - Okay, I appreciate you so much. Yeah, if we end up doing the eviction on that one, my name is Michael. - Okay, Michael. Do you want me to call or to my texts or my cell phone? - Oh, you're awesome. Thank you so much. I appreciate you. - Thank you, bye-bye. - Bye guys, this is, I mean, like when people, when people are telling me that they don't, they can't call it or they're like, you know, they over, they're overthinking the stuff, she charges a premium and she says charges even more for things up in Cedar Crest and Edgewood, which is where this house is, right? And so I try to be as honest as I can without revealing information. Obviously, I'm trying to find out information. So I'm not gonna be upfront about everything, right? But at the same time, I'm not gonna lie to her 'cause you heard at the end of the conversation, like she's open to hiring me as an affiliate process server serving for her, right? It's super powerful. What if no one signs? That's it. So a signature or something is not required in most places. I didn't ask her that, that's, I don't know, I assume it's not, doesn't have to be signed, but you never know. So I called a couple of people, I have a pretty good idea that an $87 or $85 to $75 is a pretty good standard. But one of the things that I'm thinking about now that I'm thinking about it is the, we're gonna go over this in a future video, but the certification requirements, so far what I've seen in New Mexico is there isn't one. So let's call somebody else. Okay, I found one that has a decent amount of reviews. Okay, I am looking at that because I want to get someone on the phone that at least is running a business. They're not doing this just part time, if that makes sense. Okay, let's call this person. 'Cause they're gonna give me the best responses. All right. - Please leave your message for me. - Oh boy, oh boy, that's the worst. Straight to voicemail, you might as well quit now. Oh boy, man, to need them, to thank flies. All right, let's call another one. I do want to get one more here. So I can get the proof of concept for the fees. Oh man, this person here has one review and it's a one star, that's not good. He might as well quit now, he might as well quit now. If you can't, you got a voice, man. Guys, these are some things you can take notes of too. You might as well quit now, if you got one star and you can't get any more reviews, okay? You might as well quit now, if your phone goes straight to voicemail. The reason why I say that is 'cause you can't keep up with me. There's no way it's impossible for you to keep up with me. This sounds familiar, this one here. Oh, investigations. Let's see how investigations charge differently. That's a thing in some places, okay? Because an investigator can charge more money. Thank you for contacting the most trusted investigators in Mexico Southwest, Texas. Your case matters and we want to help to speak with one of our agents in regards to new service dial 101 with the case manager or a member of our support team, revenue cases, case dial extension. So this is a key, this is something to note when your company gets bigger, if you have a phone tree, it gets rid of spam dialers. You can reach for an investigation department. Your case matters and we want to help. Please leave your name and your number and one of our agents will call you back just as soon as they're available. Thank you. - Please hold while I try to. - So that could, that sounds like ring central voice tree. It's just so bad for business. Like I get why they probably thought it was a good idea, but it's so bad for business because if you don't answer the phone, if I don't get a person on the phone and I need to think about, put your mind in the mind of the consumer. I need to have some, whether I'm a paralegal or a guy who's trying to serve his wife divorce papers or child custody papers or an attorney who just got out of court. He's got to get something served real quick. He just went solo out of law school. Whoever I am, I don't want your voice tree. Okay, I pushed 101 and now I'm being sent to voice now. Just quit, just give up now. Just quit, this is going to be so easy to destroy these people. It sounds arrogant, but the only real competition so far are these two companies. They both were good. And again, I'm not trying to put them on blast. So I'm not saying their name. We'll say company A. Company A is 59 reviews. They have the most reviews. They got state contracts. So that's probably the one to beat. But actually company B has less reviews, 31 reviews, but very good customer. Well, they're both very good customer services, but I could tell that company B serves more of the individuals. Very good. And she charted as more money. So between the two of these two, I have enough information. This other one has some reviews, a four star review, but only nine reviews, but their phone number is bad. They don't have a website. I mean, guys, the whole goal here is to get in the map pack. Be one of the three that show up in Google Maps. I haven't said this yet, but I'll mention it right now. And you've probably heard me talking to her. One of the ladies about it was I'm going to differentiate myself from them right away by being the mountain goat. I'm going to be the process server in the East Mountains. I actually even thought about calling this East Mountain Process Server, right, my company. Because first of all, you get to charge a premium, right? So in order to serve somebody, I can charge $200, not to the affiliate, but to an attorney. I could charge $200, I might even just do that right away. $200, $200, and then if they send it to an affiliate, I'll charge less, but I want to know that she's charging that amount. So once I've done a few jobs for her, I'll know how much she's charging her clients. I'll charge them the same, or maybe even a little bit more. And the attorneys want to use me directly, then they'll be paying a premium. And then eventually once I have a good majority of the market share here locally, then I can farm it out to other process servers who live locally, who will do it for $30 to serve, $40 to serve, and I'm getting, you know, 180, okay? And then I can hire an office staff. I can pay for an office, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, okay? She said they serve most of the state. So, and they have state contracts that serve child support papers. So where I'm from in California, that was always, you actually served based on the county. So anyway, so anyway, now we know we're gonna charge at least 70 bucks. She charged 75, we charge 79, 79 feels like a good number. 77 or 79, and then I'm gonna go through these questions here. I have a list of questions. I posted a few reels, and I got a bunch of responses. So we're gonna go through this. Okay, so what types of documents are you, do you wanna serve? So, I mean, summons, complaint, subpoenas, evictions, child support documents. The one thing about child support documents, you gotta know this right away too, when you're starting a company, is those big contracts are great when you have other people serving them. So if I can make $5 or $10 on every serve, 'cause I'm paying a process server to go do it for me, and I can get 10,000 serves a year. Okay, 10,000 serves times the $5 or $10 that I made. That's pretty good, especially considering while they were serving those other documents for the child support people, they were hitting one here for, that I'm getting paid 180 for it, and they're getting paid the same $30 or $40. To them, it's all the same. Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do. They're hitting them all the same. But to me, I'm able to pay them more overall each month, but I'm able to make a lot more because one out of the five, or one out of the 10 that they're serving, I'm making $130 or $110 on whatever, right? So that's how you set it up. It's a scale. Like why people say, well, why would I serve papers for $45 with a state contract? That's why, because you can get the volume, and you can really scale. And it's dependable income. And when you have contracts like that too, and you wanna build a company that has value to sell, remember, that's what this whole mighty process server series is about, is starting a company that we can turn around and sell for a lot of money, right? You can take this company, build it, get the contracts, grow it. I might even buy a process serving company. There's a couple of these that I saw that have no marketing presence at all, or even some of them who have state contracts where they're probably struggling, and they don't have all of the marketing tools that I do. They may be willing to sell, you know? Sometimes for 20 or 30 grand, even though they're making 10 grand a month, they just want out of it, because they're a slave to their job, if that makes sense. So, that's a good question, good, good. But what documents, I mean, yeah, your process server, you serve whatever's sent to you. If you can't serve it legally, like a restraining order, some places you can't serve restraining orders, then you don't. So some of you may be thinking like, "Well, Mike, how are you gonna get all this other information that quickly?" The way I'm gonna get the information quickly from this lady that I just met, is I'm going to call her and say, here in the next few days, I'll call her probably next week and say, "Hey, I'm here locally. Could I come by and say hi?" And build a relationship. People want that quick bandaid to pull off, to fix their business. No, you need to, you're not gonna get a quick fix where you're making a quick buck. You're gonna go down and build relationships that are gonna turn into something later on. And so that's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna go build a relationship with her. I don't know about the other one, the first one that's company A, because they are, she's like, "Of course I'm busy." Maybe I'll go and be like, "Hey, I'll serve your stuff here in the East mountains." Actually, I'm halfway tempted to do that right now. Let me see. Well, I'll call later. But I'll call, basically when I call it, it's like she's so busy. There's a chance that she may need something up here in the East Mountain Serb, and she's willing to pay a decent amount. For me, there's no amount that makes sense for me to go knock on a door. It's just, I'm not at that place. I'm not in that place. But I wanna help you guys. So if I can get out there and have a little fun and help you guys learn how to build a company, 'cause I've tried to tell people how to do it, and it doesn't work out. Here's one company right here that I don't see them in the map pack, but they're running ads. It's called Proof. And Proof, you can actually sign up as a processor. And here, I'll do a screen share on this part. This is something I was gonna tell you guys about. You can go to the nationwide companies, and you can start getting work right away. So let's see, am I sharing? There we go. So I'm not a big fan of them. They don't pay very well, but again, it's the volume, right? So let's see here. Center for Proof and Minutes and get instant access to our nationwide network of servers, right? That's their pitch. They can have stuff served anywhere. And they're running ads like crazy. The Expedited Service is 145, four attempts over three days. Interesting, four attempts over three days. That's different, $50. Oh, interesting. Yeah, this is a good model. I like this model because it says, well, if you're doing four attempts over three days, this looks like a same day attempt and then an attempt. Same again, or that's interesting right there. Four attempts over three days. Documents placed because it's the one and done, right? And a lot of evictions are one and done, interesting. Standards 95, four attempts over 10 days, that makes more sense. And then same day. First attempt on the same day. So guys, this is a good model right here, actually. Just, I might just roll with this model right here. I like this. $50 post it, done. Same day, 190, Standard 95. I just wanted to show you that as an example here with Proof and they're running ads. So here we go. So we want to go for process servers. Here we go. There we go. Earn more money, doing more serves, get started. So I don't, like I said, they're not going to pay a whole lot, but I just want to go through this process with you guys and show you. You could start serving right away. Ready? And the cool thing about serving this, check this out. You get an attorney who can't find somebody in your area because Proof is paying for the ads, okay? They're paying sometimes $25, $30 per click, okay? So then when the attorney signs up for them, sends you to work, guess whose name is on the legal documents? The attorneys. So now you do a Proof of Service. Do it through them. Don't go around them. But now you know who to market to on your marketing, on your mailers, on your drivebys and stuff like that, you can market to that attorney 'cause you know they already have work in your area. So let's see. Let's go. Michael Reed, right? We're going to do, let's see here, let's do a process at Mighty and G H UA. Now I have a team of virtual assistants that are going to help me after this challenge. Take care of this. But, and I'll show you guys how to do that at some point, but you want to create a domain name for yourself. You know, Mighty, I do own MightyProcesserver.com, I might use that. But I'm very tempted to use East Mountain, East Mountain Process Server because it'll really niche me in this area, be a big fish in a little pond if that makes sense. So let me just, I'm actually going to do that real quick 'cause I want to put in this phone number 'cause I want to see if it texts me here. Oh man, there's a bunch more questions. Okay, let's see, do, do. I want to get down to the nitty gritty and see if it's going to start sending me jobs right away. That would be kind of cool, don't you think? Let's see here, D do six forms. I'm going to create a basic password. Let's see, Mighty. Okay guys, here we go. Oh yes, I'm at least 18. I have a valid, I have a valid driver's license. I have a valid unexpired car insurance and I'm licensed within my stage to be a process server, if applicable. Which in this case is not okay, submit. Now, I'm just curious, like it's going to make me, it's going to like add me to a list. Okay, I'm so bad with process. I'm so bad with password you guys. Okay here, boom, finally. Okay, password keeper, okay. Your account has been created. Please check your email inbox to verify your email address. Okay, I'm going to do that for you guys really quick and then we're going to look and see which jobs are available. Which is kind of cool, right? Good to do, lots of emails, Monday morning, blah, blah. One time I signed up, they asked me to be one of their first people in California and they wanted me to come on and promote them and stuff. The problem is when they were charging like $8 a serve, it's like I couldn't do it, I couldn't do it. Not when you're getting 99 bucks a serve. Consolidated billing, they have a really good model though, you guys, like their model, let me go back to this quick. Boom, boom, boom, there we go. So their model is actually very interesting, like CSS serve documents nationwide in 24 hours with open communication, accurate affidavits. Their marketing is pretty good. If you just based your marketing and pricing off of their thing and just did it in your local area, you'd probably crush it. I'm going to note this down when I build the website with you guys, we're going to go through and build a website together. And I'm going to show you how easy it is and how we can use examples like these guys to crush it. All right, so we can get a demo or we can create a free account, we've already done it. So let's blog in, boom, boom. So let's see here for a serve. This one I believe was process and your virtual. Back on, there's time in, do you not mess around? Okay, yeah, save. Okay, so here we go, here's our dashboard. Let's see my jobs. I got no jobs yet, of course, earnings, nothing. Okay, so how do you get jobs? Do do do do, earnings, maybe it's under settings. Dog count in progress jobs, good to do, edit profile. Here we go, here we go, edgewood, do job progress updates. Yeah, somebody's probably going to call and say, "Hey, what areas can you serve?" Table style preference, yeah. Okay, well anyways, I was hoping that we'd like send me jobs right away. Let me see. Last time I did it way back in the day, they sent me text messages like right away. Excuse me, guys. Anyway, so enough of that. So let's get back to some of the questions. If you have questions or you know things about proof, I like their marketing. Their marketing is pretty, pretty on point. So let's go through some more of these questions. So legal and ethical compliance. So next week, I'm going to go through the compliance stuff, technology and tools. I'm going to go over the automation and why I chose different types of softwares that I'm going to use this time because it's important to understand which software to use to automate things. There are some software like, for example, in California, you might use TriStar because you do a lot of judgments, right? Because they automate completely automate the judgments or the writs, writs of execution and judgments. And that's valuable. It saves you tons of time in having to fill things out and stuff. One thing I'm going to do, and this is if you want a little checklist for today, get a base price for how much you're going to charge. I'm going to charge at least 79, all the way up to $95 for routine standard service, okay? I might start at 79 just to get started, my local area. And then that way attorneys will send stuff directly to me versus sending it to somebody in Albuquerque. I know lots of people here that would serve for me. The fact that they don't have to be certified, I can have people who I trust serving legal documents that aren't even certified, which to me is crazy. Anyways, so that's that guys. I think that I'm going to leave it at that. Share this with any other process servers that you know or people who maybe want to start a process serving company. I teach a lot of different things. And process serving has just always been close to my heart because it was the first company I ever had that made over $100,000 in a year. That was the first company where I was like, this is possible, like the first company where I was, it seemed like play money. I made 30 grand in one month and it was like, this is real, okay. And so if there's something I know how to do is build a process serving company. So I'm going to go through all that with you guys. I feel like I've rambled a little bit today. There's a bunch more questions, but they're basically things that we're going to get to. How do you price your company? How do you price your serves? How do you prepare your company for sale? So creating an LLC, like we're going to talk about all of this stuff before the series is over. I'm going to give you guys the cheapest ways to go about it, how to do it, so that you can make the most amount of money. But guys, you will need to spend a little bit of money, not to me, but to software, okay. Because software is going to, is going to be the way that you build. You don't have to do it right away. You can go out and get your first serves first. But you're going to need to have insurance. You're going to need to have a company website. You're going to need to have software. You're going to have to pay for fuel, by the way, to go serve stuff, okay. You can buy hardly like I did and you can ride your Harley around and serve people. I might even do that live. All right, you guys, go be safe. You're going to do process serving. You have to understand the safety behind it and what's the things that you've got to do to stay safe. And I'm going to teach you about all that too. I'm probably going to be driving around doing that. I'm going to go up to a door when I get my first serve from one of these folks. I'm going to go serve it on an arc on the door. I'm going to record the whole thing. So you guys are going to get to see me building a process serving company from scratch. And I'm excited. So you guys, take care, be safe, live mighty.
